Tom Cruise still wants to film his latest film in Germany despite being banned from filming at the country's military bases because of his belief in Scientology.
'Valkyrie', which stars Cruise as Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, leader of an unsuccessful plot to kill Adolf Hitler during World War II, is due to start shooting in Germany this summer.
The country's Defence Ministry have refused permission to film scenes on army sites as Scientology is not considered to be a legitimate church by the German government.
Cruise, who is one of the producers as well as the star of the film, has said that his beliefs have nothing to do with the film and that he still wants to shoot the movie on location in von Stauffenberg's homeland.
