Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe has dismissed a report he has started drinking again as "completely false."
Nadine Coyle's former boyfriend spent a month in rehab earlier this year.
The 28-year-old is furious with a story in a recent issue of American magazine In Touch Weekly, claiming he was drunk at a John Mayer concert.
Metcalfe's lawyer Marty Singer has reportedly written a letter, obtained by website TMZ.com, to In Touch and its parent company Bauer Publishing, demanding an "appropriate retraction, correction, and apology" or face "substantial liability."
