'The Apprentice' reality TV show star Katie Hopkins, sacked from her job at the Met Office, has vowed to go to an employment tribunal if she does not get it back.
The 31-year-old was fired by the Met Office earlier this month after she pulled out of the BBC show starring businessman Sir Alan Sugar.
At the time the single mother-of-two said she did not want a place in the show's final because she did not want to leave Devon.
Days later the Exeter-based Met Office, which she joined last September as a consultancy team member, sacked her for not meeting standards expected of her.
She was given unpaid leave from the Met Office to take part in the filming for the programme.
Ms Hopkins is to have an internal hearing at the Met Office in the near future.
She told the Express and Echo newspaper in Exeter that if she failed to win her case at that hearing she would go to an employment tribunal.
