Thomas Haden Church, who was Oscar nominated for his role in 2004's 'Sideways', is in negotiations to star with Sandra Bullock in the comedy 'All About Steve'.
The story is about a crossword constructor, played by Bullock, who falls in love with a CNN cameraman (Church) and criss-crosses the country in an effort to convince him that they are perfect for each other.
Phil Traill will make his feature directorial debut on the project, which will start shooting this summer.
Church recently played villain Flint Marko/Sandman in 'Spider-Man 3'.
