Following recent deals for two new cast members, it has been announced that another six actors are joining the cast of the hit adventure series 'Heroes' - with one set to play the leader of an Irish gang.
The Hollywood Reporter says that 'Alias' star David Anders, 'CSI: Miami' star Holt McCallany, 'How I Met Your Mother' star Lyndsy Fonseca, Japanese pop singer and actress Eriko Tamura, Dianna Agron and Barry Shabaka Henley will all have recurring roles in the second series.
Anders will play the ancient samurai warrior Takezo Kensei, the childhood hero of the character Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka).
Tamura will play a Japanese princess; Henley will play a New York police detective; McCallany will play the gang leader; Fonseca and Agron will play cheerleaders.
Recently, actors Nicholas D'Agosto and Dania Ramirez signed deals to star in the hit show.
