Oasis star Noel Gallagher has said he is considering buying Manchester City football club.
The English club are currently going through turbulent times, having sacked their manager Stuart Pearce and a lacklustre season in the Premiership.
Noel thinks that this could be the perfect time for him to place a bid for the club along with M People founder Mike Pickering, who now works for record label Sony BMG.
"We haven't got a manager, we've not sold any season tickets, brilliant!" complained the guitarist, reports British newspaper the Daily Star.
"I'm thinking of mounting a hostile takeover - me and Mike Pickering," declared Gallagher. "I reckon we could scrape together about £400,000 in cash and I reckon we would get it for that."
