Television presenter Oprah Winfrey has been named The World's Most Powerful Celebrity, according to Forbes magazine.
The 53-year-old talk show host topped the list with an estimated fortune of $260m. The list takes into account celebrities' earnings, internet presence and media coverage to determine the most powerful people.
Madonna was placed number three on the list with $72m, while the Rolling Stones were ranked fourth with $88m.
Fifth place on the list went to Hollywood star Brad Pitt with $35m, while fellow actor Johnny Depp was placed sixth with $92.
Also featuring in the top ten were Elton John, Tom Cruise, Steven Spielberg, Jay-Z and Tiger Woods.
Speaking about Oprah Winfrey, a Forbes spokesperson said: "A combination of strong financials and her enduring influence on the US public, which could see her affecting the outcome of next year's US elections, is enough to propel her back into the top spot."
