Cameron Diaz stunned the crowds at the UK premiere of her latest film, 'Shrek The Third,' and remained undisturbed by the presence of her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, insisting that the pair were now "friends."
Timberlake and Diaz, in a beautiful long black Chanel dress, embraced just before stepping out on to the green carpet at last night's premiere for the animated film.
Diaz, 34, reprises her role as the voice of Princess Fiona in the latest Shrek adventure while singer Timberlake, 26, voices newcomer Artie, Fiona's rebellious cousin.
Hundreds of female fans screamed Timberlake's name at the glittering Leicester Square event but Diaz insisted being with the singer again - who was her partner for more than three years - was not awkward.
"I really like it. We're friends. It's good to see him," she said.
"It's great having him around. We've not been able to sit down and have a chat yet we've been so busy."
Diaz, who has switched her hair back from brunette to blonde, said of the premiere: "I'm enjoying it. It's great, it's so much fun."
And she added of the movie: "When you're not dealing with the physical world it's so much easier."
Asked about her reported friendship with Victoria Beckham she said: "She's a very nice lady. Very sweet but I've only met her once. We were wearing the same shoes."
The third movie in the 'Shrek' series has already claimed the US record for the biggest animated film opening in box office history.
