Singer and television presenter Charlotte Church has defended Britney Spears' partying lifestyle.
The 21-year-old, who is expecting her first child with rugby player Gavin Henson, said that Spears shouldn't be criticised for socialising.
Church told the Daily Star: "If you're a woman, you're supposed to stay sober until your kids grow up. That's not fair."
"Just because Britney has the odd night on the lash doesn't make her a bad mum," she said.
"She's still allowed to have a good time every now and again. It would be different if it was every night."
