Hollywood power couple Larry David, the co-creator of 'Seinfeld,' and his political activist wife Laurie, have separated after 14 years of marriage.
Spokeswoman Heather Lylas said the split was amicable.
She told Reuters that the couple "are completely committed to raising their two daughters" but declined to give a reason for the break up.
Besides co-creating the hit television comedy 'Seinfeld,' David is the star of the HBO series 'Curb Your Enthusiasm,' in which he plays himself as a boorish television writer who shames his on-screen wife.
Laurie David produced 'An Inconvenient Truth', the global-warming movie that won an Oscar for best documentary.
In April, she accompanied singer Sheryl Crow on a college tour to raise awareness about climate change.
