'The Bill' star Christopher Ellison is set to join the cast of 'EastEnders' in the coming months.
According to reports, Ellison will play Len Harker, who rescues Pat Butcher when her car breaks down while she is on holiday.
'EastEnders' Executive Producer Diederick Santer said: "I've been a massive fan of Christopher since he played Burnside so I'm really chuffed to have got him on board."
Ellison, who is best known for his portrayal of DCI Frank Burnside in 'The Bill', is reportedly due to join the soap in August and will appear in at least four episodes.
