The Who, The Killers and The Arctic Monkeys will be the headlining acts of this year’s Glastonbury festival, it was confirmed today. Other big names among the 200 plus performers include Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse, Paul Weller and Kasabian.

The three-day festival kicks off on June 22 and is the largest yet, with an extended camping capacity of 177,500. As well as the two main locations, the Pyramid Stage and the Other Stage, there will be about 30 other stages, tents, cafes and bandstands featuring live acts.

Headlining the John Peel stage, named after the Radio 1 DJ, are Hot Chip, The Gossip and The Twang. Bjork, Babyshambles, The Coral and Editors will perform on the Other Stage.

Festival-goers this year will be asked to sign up to the 'I Count' climate change campaign, which details 16 steps to reduce your carbon imprint. There will be carbon neutral showers, recycled toilet paper and organic food at the festival.
