'The Sopranos' star Dania Ramirez is joining the cast of the hit sci-fi show 'Heroes' for its second series.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Ramirez will play Maya in 'Heroes'; she is a new hero whose powers have not yet been revealed.
The Dominican Republic-born actress plays AJ Soprano's (Robert Iler) former fiancée Blanca in the mob drama.
It is reported that four or five new characters will be introduced in the second series of 'Heroes', but Ramirez's character may be the only regular.
