It has been reported a special team of police officers will be watching this year's 'Big Brother' for racism and violence.
According to British newspaper The Daily Mirror, the squad could even arrest housemates live on air, if their behaviour gets out of hand.
The move, condemned last night as a waste of money and manpower, follows the racist bullying of Shilpa Shetty on 'Celebrity Big Brother' in January.
A UK police source told the Mirror: "No hint of that will be tolerated. If necessary, we'll visit the studio to apprehend housemates."
'Big Brother 8,' presented by Davina McCall and Dermot O'Leary, kicks off on Channel 4 tomorrow night.
