Cathy Tyson and Dicken Ashworth are set to join the cast of 'Emmerdale', according to a spokesperson for the show.
Ashworth will play Duke, the aging father of regular character Terry. The new villager strikes up an unconventional friendship with Tyson's character Andrea.
An 'Emmerdale' spokesperson said: "We are delighted to be welcoming Cathy Tyson and Dicken Ashworth to 'Emmerdale'."
"Dicken has come on board to play Terry Woods' father, Duke, while Cathy will star as feisty single mum, Andrea."
"Viewers will be able to see Cathy and Dicken on screen from the end of June," the spokesperson said.
