'Coronation Street's Carla is set for a shock when she accidentally uncovers Leanne's secret and begins to realise why her husband Paul hates her friend so much.
Carla (Alison King) and Leanne (Jane Danson) are out celebrating together after signing the contracts for their new business when Leanne is spotted by a client.
Actress Alison King told ITV Soaps: "While Leanne is in the ladies' someone comes over and asks Carla, 'Are you with Rachael?' and of course Rachael is Leanne's pseudonym."
"She twigs very quickly, then takes the client's card and asks if they can keep it between themselves."
"Carla wants to set her up because she has been lied to and Carla can't stand that," she said.
"She knows Paul has a downer on Leanne and she wants to know why. She is clever enough to realise that if he is not saying but he knows that she is a prostitute, then he's keeping quiet for a reason."
King said: "She starts fishing through her statements and eventually finds the bills for an agency that he uses and realises that he has been lying to her."
