Author JK Rowling is to sign copies of her new Harry Potter book, 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows', at a marathon midnight-to-dawn event in London.
Rowling will sign copies of '...The Deathly Hallows' for fans at the Natural History Museum in London on 21 July.
Tickets for the event are free and can be applied for from Rowling's publishers Bloomsbury at www.bloomsbury.com/jkrevent until 11 June. RTÉ is not responsible for the content of external websites.
1,700 fans will be chosen and each will receive a free copy of the book and have it signed at the event by Rowling.
The first 500 randomly selected fans will also attend a midnight reading from the book by Rowling.
A statement from Bloomsbury said: "Ten years after publication of 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone', the launch of this, the final book in the series, returns to where it all began: with a book, the author and her readers."
