There's a twist in store for 'Coronation Street's Claire Peacock when she is arrested on suspicion of starting the fire at her own house.
Police have been searching for clues at the Peacocks' house since it went up in flames last week but it isn't long before they begin to suspect that Claire may have been involved.
Actress Julia Haworth, who plays Claire, told ITV Soaps: "Claire doesn't think that the police will suspect her for one minute, but if you look at it from their point of view, she has a history of mental illness."
"She has been sectioned, she has tried to take Freddie back to the hospital and she has abandoned him in a car..."
Later Claire begins to suspect that her former friend Casey might have been involved.
Haworth said: "Claire hasn't got Casey's surname or address, her phone number no longer works, she is completely untraceable."
"She is her prime suspect. She also lost her own baby and fell out with Claire so it seems as though she has motive for taking Freddie out of the house and then setting it alight to cover her tracks."
