Julia Roberts is to star in and produce a new film about the wildlife conservationist Joan Root, who was murdered earlier this year.
Variety reports that the as-yet-untitled film was inspired by the Vanity Fair article 'A Flowering Evil'.
It will follow Root's early life travelling around the globe making documentaries with her husband.
Following her divorce, Root returned to Kenya to continue her conservationist work and was murdered there earlier this year.
