Cecilia Ahern is set to make a big break into television. US network
ABC has picked up the half-hour comedy series 'Sam I Am,' created by the Taoiseach's daughter.
'Sam I Am,' is a comedy about a woman who, after becoming a victim of a hit and run, wakes up from a coma with retrograde amnesia and has to start her life and relationships over again.
The series will premiere on the US network ABC - who also make 'Desperate Housewives,' 'Lost' and 'Ugly Betty' - in the autumn and will star Christine Applegate.
