Singer Peter Andre has revealed that he thought he was "going to die" when he was admitted to hospital with a mystery illness recently.
In his first interview since being discharged from hospital Andre told OK! magazine: "I thought I was going to die".
"I'd been in hospital for four days and nobody knew what was wrong with me and I was just getting worse and worse."
"I was moved to an isolation room and all they kept doing was test after test. I was petrified," he said.
"Sometimes I didn't know what was happening or whether I was awake or asleep. I didn't know what day it was - it was like being in a nightmare."
The singer said that he is still recovering from the illness. "I'm so weak, it's horrible. I'm trying to do a little more each day but it's frustrating."
"Everything is exhausting - walking, having a shower, getting dressed. If I don't try to do more each day I won't get better, though."
