'Coronation Street' star Bruce Jones has had his ban from the soap extended for another four weeks.
The actor, 54, who plays taxi driver Les Battersby, is already on a six-week ban for allegedly insulting colleagues in a foul-mouthed rant.
But now according to British newspaper The Daily Mirror, Jones has had his suspension lengthened for another month while Corrie bosses continue their investigation.
Jones is said to have been severely under the influence when he branded his co-stars "w****rs" to friends in a restaurant, although he denies the incident even occurred.
"If I offended anyone I certainly didn't mean to," he said. "In my heart of hearts I believe I will be back at work soon."
