Former 'Baywatch' star David Hasselhoff's child visitation rights have been suspended after the release of a videotape last week showing the recovering alcoholic apparently intoxicated in his Las Vegas home.

"This videotape changes the landscape," said Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mark Juhas.

His visitation order will remain in effect until a further hearing on 21 May.

He also asked that the couple and their daughters, 16-year-old Taylor Ann and Hayley, 14, meet with a court appointed psychologist to evaluate custody and visitation arrangements.

Hasselhoff was not in court for the hearing, which was attended by his ex-wife, actress Pamela Bach.
