Romance is in the air for 'Emmerdale' characters Debbie and Eli when they get together after managing to pull off another scam together.
The pair hatch a plan to buy Jack out of the garage but can't afford the asking price. Eli later decides to pose as Scott in order to secure a loan from the bank.
Actress Charley Webb, who plays Debbie in the soap, explained that her character can't resist Eli when she sees him dressed up in a suit.
Webb told ITV Soaps: "Debbie kisses Eli. Then they end up sleeping together."
However, Debbie later realises that she still has feelings for Scott and must let Eli down gently.
"They'd had a bit of a drink and it just happened. She tells him in the morning that she's not up for it."
"He takes it quite well. But he's disappointed deep down. He just shrugs it off and says, ‘Oh, it was just a bit of fun'..."
But actress Webb isn't sure that her character Debbie will be able to stick to her word: "It might happen again. It depends on how long Scott's away and what else is going on in Debbie's life."
