Liv Tyler is to star opposite Edward Norton in 'The Incredible Hulk'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Tyler will play scientist Betty Ross, the love interest of Dr Bruce Banner/The Hulk.
In the new film, Ross is estranged from Banner but with the hunt for The Hulk gathering pace, she finds herself returning to his life.
Jennifer Connelly played the Ross character in Ang Lee's 2003 film 'Hulk'.
'The Incredible Hulk' will begin shooting this summer in Toronto.
