Cillian Murphy is to star opposite Sienna Miller, Max Minghella and Emma Booth in a new film set in 1960s London, 'Hippie Hippie Shake'.

Variety reports that the film is based on the Richard Neville book 'Hippie Hippie Shake: The Dreams, the Trips, the Trials, the Love-ins, the Screw Ups: The Sixties Memoir'.

Murphy will play Neville in the film, which takes place against the backdrop of the famous Oz magazine obscenity trial.

The film will be directed by 'Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason' director Beeban Kidron and will begin shooting in the autumn.

Murphy and Miller are also starring together in the new film about Dylan Thomas and his friends, 'The Best Time of Our Lives'.
