A British court has backed celebrity magazine OK! over rival Hello! in a final ruling at the end of a four-year legal battle over wedding pictures of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
OK!, which had an exclusive deal with the Hollywood couple to cover their 2000 wedding, won a 2003 court case against Hello!, which published unauthorized "spoiler" pictures.
Hello! won an appeal in 2005, and OK! took the case to the House of Lords for a final ruling.
OK! was awarded damages of £1 million in 2003 before the ruling was overturned.
The Law Lords said that sum should now be paid, but they would rule later on legal costs, which are expected to total around eight million pounds.
