Singer Peter Andre has been forced to deny his own death after Internet rumours claimed that he died of meningitis.
According to reports, the rumours began to circulate after it was announced that Andre was ill in hospital and had been diagnosed with meningitis.
According to Contactmusic.com, Andre's spokesperson later denied the rumours, saying: "There has been a disgusting rumour circulating that Peter Andre has died. This is simply not true. Peter is feeling slightly better."
