Actress Denise Black is set to create a stir in 'Coronation Street' when her character Denise Osbourne makes a return next month.
According to the 'Coronation Street' website, the hairdresser, who previously had an affair with Ken Barlow, gets in touch with the former teacher after hearing about Tracy Barlow's murder conviction.
Black said: "She drops Ken a line when she hears about Tracy's story and he just turns up, unannounced, wanting to see her and Daniel. Then they nip up to the flat, and the story starts."
"I always felt that Ken and Deirdre were forever. But there's no relationship that doesn't go through bumps," she said.
"And given what the Barlows have just been through, it must be very bumpy."
Black also revealed that her character wants Ken to get to know his son Daniel. "Single parenting is not easy, and a boy needs a father figure," she said.
