'Lost' actor Matthew Fox has been cast in the new film from 'The Matrix' duo the Wachowski brothers, a live-action version of the 1960s cartoon 'Speed Racer'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that 'Alpha Dog' star Emile Hirsch will play the title role of the young, glory-seeking racecar driver with Fox set to play his mysterious rival, Racer X.
The film also stars Susan Sarandon, Christina Ricci and John Goodman.
Andy and Larry Wachowski will write and direct the film, which is due in cinemas in May 2008.
