Singer Justin Timberlake has revealed that he was so worried about his former girlfriend Britney Spears that he phoned her.
According to People magazine, Timberlake was concerned for the star after she spent time in rehab recently.
Speaking at a publicity event for his new movie 'Shrek The Third', Timberlake said: "I called her because I worried about her."
"She's a great woman. I'm rooting for her. It seems like she's getting everything under control now," he said.
Previously when asked about his relationship with Spears in an interview, Timberlake said: "Honestly, I am so far removed from that situation."
