American singer and dancer Willa Ford is to play the lead role in a new biopic of the late model Anna Nicole Smith.
Variety reports that the film, 'Anna Nicole', will begin shooting next week.
The biopic will focus on Smith's life from the age of 17 until her death in February at the age of 39.
Ford scored a major US hit with her single 'I Wanna Be Bad' and appeared in the third series of the TV show 'Dancing with the Stars'.
She is currently writing and recording her second album.
