'Grease is the Word' judge David Gest has reportedly been told to tone down his criticisms of the performers auditioning for the show.
According to the Sunday People, ITV bosses have told the former 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here' star to go easy on the musical hopefuls.
A source told the paper: "He's taken great joy in humiliating the contestants and he's really upset some of them."
"It's not an exercise in putting people down and it's not the David Gest Show. The other judges are getting tired of it. He's well overstepped the mark."
Gest commented to one hopeful: "I've a cousin who could dance better and she only has one leg."
