Marta Kauffman, the co-creator of 'Friends', is involved in the pilot episode of a new reality TV series which plans to explore the world of the paranormal.
The Hollywood Reporter says that 'Gifted' will test people who claim they have psychic abilities, with Kauffman set to serve as executive producer – her first foray into reality TV.
Commenting on the show, Kauffman said: "I have always been fascinated about what we can't see and the gifts that people have that enable them to do incredible things. And I have always wanted to know if there is a way to quantify people's ability."
If 'Gifted' gets the green light for a full series it is hoped to narrow down the number of participants and to possibly have them living together.
