A church security guard reportedly pulled a gun on a photographer who was chasing pop singer Britney Spears as she left a service.
According to the Daily Mirror, Spears had just left a Presbyterian service in Los Angeles when the incident occurred.
A photographer followed the singer, dodging police, who were halting traffic in order to let Spears leave quickly.
A witness reportedly said: "When Britney left the church in her car police kept photographers back."
"One guy tried to get past and two guards ran into the street. One whipped out a gun. He was shouting 'Get out of your car'. The snapper looked so scared. He was saying 'What have I done?'," the witness said.
"The guard said 'You tried to run the traffic officer down'. He said 'No, I didn't'."
According to reports, the photographer was handcuffed and detained but was released later in the day.
The church said: "Our guard doesn't regret what he did. This is a church, not a pop concert."
