A show entitled 'does she take sugar?' featuring dancer, choreographer, and actress Jean Butler will open at the Project Arts Centre on 11 April.

For her first solo programme, Butler has created a dance piece which investigates a new movement language derived from traditional Irish dance and placed in a contemporary setting.

In 'does she take sugar?' she uses text, film, sound and silence, allowing an audience-challenging abstract narrative to unfold.

Butler toured with the Chieftains for six years, choreographed and starred in 'Riverdance' and co-produced 'Dancing on Dangerous Ground' with Colin Dunne.

She is currently appearing as a judge in 'Celebrity Jigs 'n' Reels'.

'does she take sugar?' runs from 11 to 14 April at the Project Arts Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin.
