Television star Anna Nicole Smith died of an accidental drug overdose, according to Florida officials.
Seminole Police Chief Charlie Tiger said: "We are convinced... that this case is an accidental overdose with no other criminal elements present."
The police chief also said that there was no evidence of illegal drugs at the scene.
Smith was found dead at a Florida casino-hotel on 8 February last. A legal battle over her burial place continued for several weeks.
