'American Idol' judge Randy Jackson is reportedly being lined up to replace Louis Walsh as a judge on the next series of 'The X Factor'.
According to The Sun, the record producer has already expressed an interest in the job.
Jackson said: "I'd love to do it. I can't wait to come to London. It will be a fantastic opportunity."
He has starred as a judge on 'American Idol' alongside Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell for the last five years.
Jackson also said: "I love working with Simon. We’re great friends."
It was recently announced that Louis Walsh would not be returning to the judging panel of 'The X Factor' this year.
Presenter Kate Thornton is also due to be replaced for the upcoming season.
