A photographer that was standing in the path of a car driven by film star Keanu Reeves was allegedly grazed in an incident on Monday.
The photographer fell down and paramedics took him to a local hospital, according to spokesman deputy Ed Hernandez from the Los Angeles county sheriff's department.
Hernandez said Reeves was behind the wheel of a Porsche when the incident took place and that the sheriff's department is investigating the accident.
The actor was leaving a parking space in a residential area outside downtown Los Angeles.
Reeves' lawyer said that the incident "appears to have been brought on more by the actions of the paparazzo than by the actions of Mr Reeves."
Reeves recently appeared on Irish screens in 'The Lake House' and 'A Scanner Darkly'. He recently signed up to star in 'The Night Watchman', based on the book by James Ellroy.
