'Grey's Anatomy' star Katherine Heigl is to play the lead role in a new romantic comedy called '27 Dresses'.
Variety reports that the film tells the story of a single woman who has been a bridesmaid 27 times.
She is asked to be the bridesmaid at her sister's wedding, but her sister's fiancé is the man she is madly in love with.
The film will begin production in New York and Rhode Island in May when Heigl has time off from 'Grey's Anatomy'.
