Daniel Craig is in talks to join the cast of 'Blindness', the new film from 'City of God' director Fernando Meirelles.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the film is based on Nobel Prize winner Jose Saramago's novel and tells the story of a blindness epidemic that ravages a city.
Julianne Moore is in negotiations about joining the film.
Craig, who made his James Bond debut last year in 'Casino Royale', will next be seen on screens opposite Nicole Kidman in the thriller 'The Invasion' and in the adaptation of Philip Pullman's bestseller 'The Golden Compass'.
