Most of the stars of the hit medical drama series 'Grey's Anatomy' have agreed new contracts.
The Hollywood Reporter says that under hew new deal Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey) will receive almost $200,000 per episode while her co-stars James T Pickens Jr (Richard Webber) and Chandra Wilson (Miranda Bailey) will receive in the region of $125,000 per episode.
Justin Chambers (Alex Karev) and TR Knight (George O'Malley) are close to agreeing new contracts, for which they will also be paid in the region of $125,000 per episode.
The trade daily says that the deals are retrospective and will go back to the first episode of the third season.
While Kate Walsh (Addison Montgomery-Shepherd), who could star in the proposed 'Grey's Anatomy' spin-off series, has also inked a new deal, Patrick Dempsey (Derek Shepherd), Sandra Oh (Cristina Yang) and Katherine Hegl (Isobel Stevens) have yet to agree new contracts.
The contract status of Isaiah Washington (Preston Burke) is unclear at present.
