'Prison Break' star Paul Adelstein has joined the cast of the special two-hour episode of 'Grey's Anatomy' which could lead to a spin-off series from the hit medical drama.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Adelstein, who plays Special Agent Paul Kellerman in 'Prison Break', could also star in the spin-off series if it goes ahead. There are no details on the character he will play.
Former 'Wings' star Tim Daly has also signed up for the episode, his character is described as "handsome, sincere, like a McDreamy".
The plot for the special episode is a closely guarded secret but it will feature Dr Addison Montgomery-Shepherd (Kate Walsh) and the possibility that she could leave Seattle Grace Hospital, a storyline that would come into effect if the episode leads to a full spin-off series.
