Television presenter Andi Peters, who hosts 'Dancing on Ice Exclusive', has broken his ankle in a fall while training for the skating show.
Peters, who took part in the show last year, was practising a skating routine with professional skater Kristina Lenko when he fell.
The 36-year-old presenter will now be on crutches for six weeks because of the spiral fracture that he suffered.
Peters said: "I didn't think anything was broken until I looked down and saw just how big my ankle had swollen up."
"It was then that I began to think something major might be wrong. It was as if I had snapped a pencil in half."
An ITV spokesperson said: "The paramedic on site treated him immediately and he was then taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance."
"He managed to land Kristina safely on her skates and then his left ankle buckled under him."
