Martin Scorsese and his 'The Departed' star Mark Wahlberg are teaming up on a new series for US cable network HBO.
The Hollywood Reporter says the series is about the development of Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Scorsese and Wahlberg will be among the executive producers on the project.
The series will be based on the Nelson Johnson book 'Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City'.
