The 2006 series of Channel 4's 'Celebrity Big Brother' has been nominated for a Bafta Pioneer Audience Award.
The show, which featured George Galloway, Pete Burns and Michael Barrymore, was won by Chantelle Houghton.
The award, which is the only Bafta decided by public vote, is for shows that helped define television during 2006 by winning critical approval and capturing the public's imagination.
Other programmes on the shortlist are BBC shows 'Planet Earth', 'Dragons' Den' and 'The Royle Family: The Queen of Sheba', 'Vicar of Dibley Christmas Special' and 'Life on Mars'.
The Bafta awards will take place at the London Palladium on 20 May.
