Reality television star and former pop singer Myleene Klass has landed a job presenting CNN's first film show.
Klass, who used to present ITV music show 'cd:uk', will front a new programme called 'The Screening Room', which is due to begin on 30 March.
According to producers, the half-hour monthly show will feature interviews, reports from film festivals and red-carpet events for movies ranging from blockbusters to independent films and documentaries.
Klass said: "I'm overwhelmed to be part of something so groundbreaking for CNN - the network's first movie show."
"CNN has kudos and gravitas all over the world, and that strong brand will ensure that I will get the very best interviews."
"One thing is for sure, if I wasn't part of 'The Screening Room', I'd be glued to my seat watching it."
CNN International's senior vice president, Rena Golden, said: "Myleene is a talented presenter and 'The Screening Room' is an ideal international platform to showcase her talents."
