Rapper Kevin Federline reportedly convinced his estranged wife Britney Spears to enter rehab after issuing her with an ultimatum about their children.
According to People magazine, a source confirmed that Spears decided to enter rehab for the third time in the space of a week after Federline told her that he would go to court to get legal custody of their two young sons if she did not agree to get help.
According to US media reports, Federline was scheduled to appear at a family court hearing but this was cancelled after Spears checked into Promises rehab centre for treatment.
Spears was granted temporary custody of sons Sean Preston and Jayden James after the couple separated, with Federline given visitation rights.
Reports have also claimed that Federline has been visiting Spears at the rehab centre where she is being treated and that he took the children to see her recently.
