'Brokeback Mountain' star Michelle Monaghan has been cast opposite 'Grey's Anatomy' heartthrob Patrick Dempsey in his new romantic comedy, 'Made of Honor'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the film tells the story of Tom (Dempsey) and Claire (Monaghan), who have been friends for 10 years.
He is a serial dater who thinks he's capable of having a serious relationship while she wants to get married but hasn't found the right person.
When Claire finally gets engaged and asks Tom to be her 'maid of honour', he agrees - but only so he can stop the wedding and make her fall for him.
The film will start shooting in April.
Dempsey's latest film, 'Freedom Writers', opens in Irish cinemas this Friday, 2 March.
