Actress Jane Danson is set to return to 'Coronation Street' next month with a shocking storyline.
According to the show's official website, Danson, who plays Leanne Battersby, will return from Spain with £50,000 in her pocket.
She tells friends that she invested in overseas property and made a fortune but later reveals to Janice that she is a prostitute.
Danson told ITV Soaps: “Leanne has been away in Spain and she seems a little bit more upmarket than she was. She has allegedly made quite a bit of money on the property market, selling luxury apartments and flats in Spain.”
Speaking about possible romances for her character, she said: “I think (she might go for) Liam, he's got money and the factory connection, and she knows the score and would love to wind all the girls up. She would quite like to worm her way back in there somehow.”
